Changes in our Energy Outreach Program

Our clinic has received Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) funding for the past 15 years. EOC is an organization that provides energy assistance to many of our families. We value EOC and their programs are so helpful to many in our community. Denver Indian Health & Family Services' (DIHFS) mission is to provide culturally competent services that promote health and well being of our patients. Providing energy assistance services has helped support our mission also while lessening the hardship many families live with every day.  

We recently received news EOC will not fund DIHFS in the next year. We recognize this funding cycle was competitive with many qualified applicants and understand the difficult decision not to award DIHFS. We value our long-standing partnership and will apply the next funding cycle. 

We understand this poses a burden on many of our clients. We wish our families a warm winter season and are available to guide anyone needing assistance to other agencies that can provide this valued service.  You may also use the online directory or call the HEAT HELP number (866-432-8435).
