A key value of DIHFS is community. We strive to provide services that are inclusive and respond to the needs of our community. The mobile health unit is one of many ways that we can embody that value in our work in the Denver area and beyond. The unit offers an opportunity for our providers and staff to reach more members of the community we strive to serve, as well as reducing barriers to care.
The mobile services team has the capacity to provide medical and dental services that patients receive in our Denver clinic. The unit also has the potential to be used in immunization efforts and other special health initiatives. If we do not have the means to address a specific need, our team will be ready to provide referrals and resources to connect patients with the right services.
