Health Insurance Eligibility

Having health insurance can give you peace of mind and help you access care to support your health. As an Urban Indian Organization, DIHFS works with many health insurance providers and can help you meet your deductible (though if you are a member of a federally-recognized tribe you will not be charged personally for any medical services at our clinic).

Health Insurance Eligibility and Enrollment

Health insurance coverage helps us connect you with any specialty services we cannot provide at our location. You benefit from insurance because you will have access to a wider range of services, and our clinic will benefit by receiving more resources to support our health programs.

Medical Assistance Enrollment

There are options for free or low-cost public health insurance coverage for individuals and families. We can help enroll qualifying patients through Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid program) or the Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) program, administered by the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF). Our friendly and knowledgeable enrollment specialists will answer your questions and process your application on site. You do not need to be a patient at our clinic to discuss insurance coverage. While a scheduled appointment will help us serve you best, we can accommodate walk-ins.
